About Kate Day
Kate Day is an award-winning winemaker, entrepreneur, and regional trailblazer. She has carved a successful business in a widely competitive arena and learned the hard way that success has multiple pathways. Crucially, her journey has proven that you don’t have to compromise what’s important to you personally to do business on your terms. She is one half of the female winemaking duo behind the Two Pairs and In Two Minds wine brands, which has a story that could rival a Bold and Beautiful plot line!
Kate’s multifaceted experience working with some of Australia’s most prestigious wine companies in conjunction with her consulting business and development of two brands has taught her how to adapt and thrive in the face of change, master business agility, hustle with purpose and plan for success. Kate demonstrates real-life resilience, creating a business model that has enabled her to navigate the challenges inherent in the agricultural industry, particularly those posed by seasonal and climatic factors, helping mitigate risk.

Beyond the wine industry, Kate is also the Program Coordinator for Doctors 4 Mudgee Region Inc., a grassroots, not-for-profit initiative tackling Australia’s rural doctor shortage through community-driven solutions. In this role, she has become a regular spokesperson across national television, radio, press and news/current affairs programs, advocating for equitable rural healthcare and demonstrating how locally driven action can deliver rapid, measurable change. Under her coordination, the initiative has helped secure multiple doctors for the region in under a year through strategic advocacy, stakeholder engagement, and innovative incentive models.
