Malinda is a dedicated Clinical Psychologist with lived experience, and epitomises passion and understanding in her work. Having grown up on a rural property, she knows intimately the complexities, successes, and misconceptions of rural life. Her unwavering belief in the capacity for change drives her relentless commitment to the rural community she serves.
She is the Director of Boundless Psychology and leads a team of psychologists. She is also active as a treating psychologist and is trained in the following modes of therapy: Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Gottman, and Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT).
Malinda sits on a number of committees including APS NSW College of Clinical Psychologists and APS Interest Group for Rural and Remote Psychologists.
A board-approved supervisor, she is passionate about providing supervision, both individual and group, to early career psychologists as well as psychologists working in rural and remote settings. At the University of New England Malinda is a supervisor to students completing their Master’s Degree in Psychology.
Malinda is available for guest speaker and advisory, as well as guest writer roles, particularly in areas of rural and remote Mental Health.
