From food and farming to community, belonging and regeneration, Jade Miles inspires people to imagine what becomes possible when we choose a different story.
A storyteller, author, farmer, food systems thinker & lifelong futuresteader, Jade has spent her life exploring how we might live, work and connect differently. Raised by early permaculture adopters, she grew up learning that the way we grow food, share resources, celebrate the seasons and organise our lives can be radically different. That early learning has shaped a career dedicated to helping people reconnect with the skills, relationships and rituals that support thriving communities and a healthy future.
Jade is the author of Futuresteading and Huddle: Creating a Tomorrow of Togetherness, and host of the Futuresteading podcast, which has featured more than 200 conversations exploring food, farming, community, enoughness and regenerative ways of living. She is also the former CEO of Sustainable Table, where she helped foster collaboration, learning and positive change across Australia’s food and agriculture sectors.
Her ideas are grounded in lived experience. Together with her family, Jade runs Black Barn Farm in North East Victoria, a regenerative heritage fruit farm that continues to inform her work and perspective.
As a speaker, Jade combines storytelling, humour and thoughtful provocation to help audiences see familiar challenges through a fresh lens. Whether speaking to intimate gatherings or large conference audiences, she encourages people to pause, question assumptions and consider what a good life, healthy communities and a regenerative future might look like.
Jade speaks on food and farming, community and belonging, regeneration, stewardship, seasonal living, collective storytelling and redefining success. Through keynotes, facilitated conversations and panel discussions, she creates space for meaningful dialogue and practical reflection, leaving audiences with new questions to explore long after the event ends.
Jade is available for keynotes, huddles, facilitation and panels.
